Summary: Short writing is good.
At least, most of the time. Online.
When we were first contacted by Talent Zoo, they encouraged posts that were at least 250 words long. And at first, we exceeded that. We were thrilled at the opportunity to write for Talent Zoo Media as its Lead Blogger for Beyond Madison Avenue. Hopefully during these past two years, you too have had limited reservations.
Summary: As communicators, we worry.
We constantly wonder what part of our message is going to be picked up. What part of our messages will be not just retained, but recalled? And most importantly, will the audience of our messages be moved to act on what it heard? But do we rely solely on the content?
We have been spending time with those professionals who teach teachers, and it has been eye-opening. Yes, we believe that the information they are sharing is applicable to us and our industry.
Summary: In a calm, cool, and collected state of mind, who couldn’t make the best possible choice presented to them?
Of course we would like to believe that, but how many of us are in a constant state of calm? Few, if any.
